dusk sky transforms a mind of its own

bus ride the silence and sideway glances

not a single word the virus bares its fangs

a raised leaf offers dew for the soul

deep blue the dreamscape

after dawn curious sparrow checks in on me

dusk the cries of mourners fade in and out

after the rain a scene of fires and hell pits

noon rain paints the landscape sea blue
