under warm covers the comfort of my skin

night sky black ink consumes the full moon

cold concrete colder humans

winged gods cry and scatter shadow of eagle

childish banter seated beside a neon squid

happy hour the octopus served under neon lights

door ajar cat shadow slips into the dark

evacuating my coffee and i fire drill
