bubble of silence life sprouts

eyes behind the back they watch they don’t say

iron curtain soaked in rain blue

between the gaps of night sky gold flashes

eyelash sacrificed appease the night gods

cloud engines ignite spring lightning

to concrete caves we crawl back to

old gods old clouds preparing for lockdown
