the slow walk towards bell ringing in the dark

ponder this existence fuchsia skies

complete darkness i we resist

still dark red light wisp pulses with urgency

tunnel vision the red light drifts further

gin in the bloodstream body on fire

watching the shadow vines sway

cloud spots littered across the mad dawn sky

a flowering tree rises to greet the heavens

the land barren and us humans without regret
