summer bare field a bouquet of wildflowers

dog shadow watches the capitalist concrete rise

come dawn the body accepts and the mind forgets

each night the flesh and mind evolves

flesh upon flesh conjuring formlessness

curtain call the grey cascades upon us

the rain reclaims its birthright: a landscape lost

paper plane launched into the summer grey
