sit and be still the river grey consumes our grief
Month: April 2023
dark clouds unveil the shy stars one at a time
the flesh sits and debates in fear while the machine acts
whisked along by the morning breeze towards concrete chaos
river leviathans cast ashore by pale waves
to the river grave before dawn these feet take us
dry eyes the nimbus flooding grey streets
just bare bones without the mercy of the cloud seas
cold limbs to replace and deny the morning tides
sing to the breeze what this body cannot
