the first spell was a scream not meant to rule but to rupture the minds of the invaders
dusk the forest full of ghosts who will sip your name from bones
the wax hot drips down his wrist to the ground that was built on rumor and myth
bones the spectrum of light keeping the spring sky aloft
ocean waves shimmer slick with lunar sweat and warm drafts that spring brings
you open your eyes and the world sways from frost to birth
tonight the silence is prey hunted and flees the forest on quiet steps
why do we play this game this riddle called war when there are no winners only losers
left too long to exist in the rain of time moss covered stones without a name
