the summer moon pretends not to notice your unspoken rituals
beyond rusty gates the fog blooms in ecstasy
summer the sky forgets how to breathe and the world stands still
stars flicker gently and the fog reveals a kinky rumour
wild whispers reshape the summer shoreline
you wear the seasons wrong and summer forgets you
speak soft and the bones of the forest align to listen
something to confess: bones rattle violently
