autumn the mist divides itself into little kingdoms
autumn noon the sun is gone and the grey holds us hostage
relentless thoughts and premonitions come from a place of rust
a gentle reminder: leave a little room for wonder
survive: long enough and you become part of the forest
the water is left untouched when the moon appears inside a rain barrel
autumn: our courage to exist is tested at every turn
a year worth remembering: for the number of times i’ve been bored
smothered and gently dismantled by this haze of mindfulness
