madness is the pigeon who carries a letter without words
eyes like windows shatter before dawn as angels fall
the earth listens and remembers those who fought bled and fled from the great unmaking
my veins are rivers leading demons far from the oasis of humanity
tied a red thread to my tongue and spoke until my mouth was full of knots
crack open the earth and we’d all tumble in lost in dirt
carry that howl in bones the animal that was once- me
to feel what chaos tastes like she swallowed the broken sky
our hands are mist separating the night and seas
