faces filled with unearthly joy tumbling in the winter mist
the gods in one voice: winter be your greatest teacher
looks like the pigeons on the sill have decided the fate of humanity
torches dim and the monsters inside our head lay it down hard with desire’s vagrants
a sensual kind of danger in softness perceived by human senses
winter’s fog becomes the forest’s letter to cruel skies
sunlight fills the hollow of tree with enough warmth as branches and leaves sway with uncanny relief
