how quickly the flesh leaps at the opportunity to rewrite history
the compulsion to wrangle existence of its very essence
a careless thought and the storm rushes in to fill the void
voices of spring consumed by the greedy fog
damp earth the eye in the sky floats amongst flowers
sleep tugs at eyes but the flesh defies the voices
burning eyes and blocked ears pool water follows me places
take you from tongue to brink of the forgotten world
small bites the muffin and the sparrow vanishes
