a cult dedicated to the micro fractures of silence
pulled under: unforgiving tides of pillow and flesh
summer swelter: frail bodies in a state of non decay
karmic continuity: at every turn the same river crow judges us with its abyssal gaze
sleep mends the flesh binds shadow to limbs with the utmost care
crashing out on the sidewalk: just because the gods above and below have abandoned us all
effortlessly: cold bodies glide through the veil of grey
deliberate each instance of the crawl into the void’s womb
as we leap and dance: becoming the fools we were meant to be under a concrete tree
