in the temporary absence of light the quiet expands from subconscious into reality
something just beyond our sight: leaves settle on earth with divine grace
lovingly cradled inside the tree shadow bodies forget the passing of age
scorched earth: a sun oriole drags a whistle for eternity
no rain: black skies find joy in the tease
spring at twilight fleeting scenes of a world gone mad
center stage: lights and flesh battle for the sweet spot winner takes all applause
creature comforts: a pause between dark clouds for a sip of coffee
blessed be the mind that walks this earth full of birdsong and love
