if you should gaze deep enough you’ll find the contours of night
the autumn dark deepens and the night grows manifold
frail minds rejoin the essence of night’s choir
after dark your fingers crawlimg under my skin
dreams of grey coasts and whispers caught in unfurled sails
late autumn the blunt force trauma of light rays
dreams left to the voices from the void at daybreak
first light cold limbs forced back into place
glades burning and crystal horns scattered in the dirt
