bodies travelling ancient war trenches smell of earthen dirt and unfinished blessings
the way the autumn mist settles in the fields and in our bones without apology
like sentient ink through enchanted borders of fae and human realms dark dreams and magic leak
granting the autumn moon safe passage the river watches as she floats down gently
from things that shed scales i learned love
the bog witch reassures us: identity my love changes with the seasons
in dreams we dance along the fair folk to unlearn human barriers
wrapped in the tendrils of incense the body remembers rituals never taught
the autumn forest has always been a safe place for unfinished forms
