summer after dark the rain paints the night with pleasure
the clouds wait upon us few: those who feel the rhythm and power of thunder in our veins
sparse: souls scattered in the void of space
the first word arrives: to drink from the darkness of dreams
after the rain: the city hungers for a taste of neon lights and broken souls
i remember you: each scar honoured with touch and silence
my shadow holds down the fort as i step outside to war with the summer rain
summer i vow: to treasure your softness for all eternity
dark: is the language spoken by my skin that you secretly crave
