beyond the identity fog the culling of name and self
summer the grey draft that lingers between steps
thus i am and i deserve to be the sum of your denials
just us frail things against the tides of masked emotions
tonight’s darkness bears down hard on our frail souls
of dark bodied gods in ritualistic carnal reinvention
revisiting ghosts in an armchair the grim tales we tell
breaths banished in the cool noon rain
random flashes of illumination deifying the confines of the dream fog
