please tell the crickets to stop the crowd inside my head
noon the rain transforms the concrete into paradise
ever felt the tender of the tree beneath its bark
stranger in the lift describes the sea if only she knew its depth
blasted by light beams the winter crow disintegrates
mend flesh and bone the sea breeze at dawn
the soft fiery glow in the belly of the concrete beast
in the dark between alleys a raw kind of magic
i do not regret the emotions I’ve let loose upon this mad world
