gecko comes out of hiding for a shot of schnapps
dark before dawn the icy sting of drizzle on skin
trail run the rain drowns out my apology to the terrified waterhen
secret code: deep space in soft yellow
stepping out the drizzle in flesh
lob the mantra into the heart of the ground fog
deep grey the very air burns eyes and lungs
the last of limbs burning out in december
murmur of feathered bodies bid the rain goodbye
