festival lights disturb the sleep of the forest
trees bathe in the electric glow of neon
gentle twilight sojourn by the waters
web thread bends under weight of light ray
the river breeze sits on a thread of web
take me beyond cloud and song to the forbidden nest
the rain has died and the day begins at dusk
storm and concrete defined by the grey
shut off from the chatter the hivemind takes a moment to appreciate the rain
