barely scratching the surface of freedom
blue hour the voice inside that tells us otherwise
the river grey holds a rose afloat
monochrome dream the face of death
storm clouds in orbit bodies at rest
dark earth gecko in the warmth of room lamp
side of eye the autumn darkness never far
swallow’s face the deep orange of autumn
