starlings flock north of the concrete
smoke plume rises from the deepest and darkest parts of the forest away from the eyes of gods
swatting at the housefly in orbit
beer for the moth never bargain with the void
door to door the mist with a bag of ice
dead fish tossed around like a toy river grave
