ritual soul bath this body a forest submarine
the mind empty where do thoughts go to
nightfall we make a list of grey limbs
smothered between her moons
a plea from the dark side of her moon
summer pond aspires to be an ocean someday
lingers on skin night’s dark on dark
and here we are alive thriving in this cruel place
our thoughts wet with summer sex
