a lone tree plots against the city‘s dreams
this greed for flesh festers in the alleys
dark before dawn mynahs celebrate the warmth
a dream of songs planets colliding sounds of the rain before dawn of broken bodies trying to fix their wrongs and the sensual pleasures of tongue and touch
the soul sneaks off into the morning rain
twirling split ends contrail divides the sky
the smell of salt and summer on flesh
just us the lesser known gods dancing to earth wind & fire
drift from voice to voice to the flat of silence
