pond god approaches us we have nothing to offer
i’m barely here winter’s phantom
among things sold at goblin market- bare legs
shells filled with salt and tidal reprise
admonish the spring sky for the grey
bedside prayer sharpens the cold dagger
fill spring shells with dawn light
dreams of storm drums and battle axes
the night ocean bubbles with wrath
