crouch and whisper to the evening winds
moon wane the primal urge subsides
the cold landscape speaks to us if we listen
a sacrifice of words to the night gods
almost there almost spring then what
shadows stumble on the sidewalk happy hour
dusk the city ignites in rain
warning the spring city will bare its scars
without a shadow to my name
