first light creeps through the grey maze
dark clouds rain on command
the ice thins dream within dream
the grey invites itself into homes
night drizzle calms the animal mind
dusk we slip into a state of nonexistence
stream flow the reflection dances on concrete
winter flower the little one believes she is one
stays for the night the restless mind
