night before autumn faint smell of egos burning
deep sleep body rotation soul searching
time the moments between space and breath
dusk fingers traverse the frail flesh
night’s consensus a little fear is a good thing
surrender your senses for today not your soul
vacate this bag of flesh and bones night calls
at dawn songbird puts the rooster to shame
