sleep tugs at the tired soul summer at dusk
leaf fall and so it begins the red in the sky
the sounds of autumn in summer
earth shake mynah trio hopping across sand
we take for granted the blood that binds us
purple light on the other side of the concrete
dawn sky a reminder to pause and breathe
blue hour the old gods drop from clouds
drawn to the rawness of chaos
