summer we resist the lure of neon lights
bodies wake to the sounds of dawn rain
bones scattered across the midnight bed
concentrate/ and. immolate your: thoughts;
disorder on the horizon
uniformed shells programmed to obey
black noise and the end of the forest road
undo the silence and crawl back into bed
the sunlit landscape yearns for touch
