dawn moon slowly fades into heavens
tilt the horizon> dusk/ a query in the air
perhaps a revision of pronouns/ brethren.
children chatter drowns the voices of gods
after dawn the full moon a fool’s protest
nothing but us and the high moon anomaly
thaw the ashen soul left behind from winter
morning light at full blaze devour bodies
an old god stands still amongst overgrowth
