the darkness drowning the concrete
rainfall watch as the world distort and blend
giving structure to the darkness
broken voices on the other side of the wall
dusk we recognise the trauma in the rain
deflate the ego soft soil familiar
our sighs damp and greedy for bare flesh
never to be found again cold limbs play
something about the rain in our heads
