this frail flesh and mind slave to sleep
tunnel rush hypnotised by light bands
summer night embrace the chaos of colours
spiral into the dusk ritual of dreams
little one raising fire and smoke from nothing
working lips muster stringed dry whispers
nighttime levitation in the name of no one
train end we gather and contemplate
disturb/ the dark: static across flesh
