the cold metal gaze offers no warmth but the silence and security of algorithms
quiet and undying enough drama let go of flesh and become one with the machine
saltwater lungs the coast swallows the song of spring
the grey clings to the morning light and shapes the image of flesh
low tide: scattered pieces of the spring moon
land’s end: at high tide life and death communes
in the glow of the crescent light the scars of winter orbit and vanish
spring skies weep but the mango tree rejoices: nature is truly strange
floodgates open: and time flows rushing from noon to twilight in a single breath
