noon sky gathers its dark

first thunder of the day startles the soul

monkey hisses at lunatic disturbing times

spring turtles glide effortlessly under the bridge

forgive the design of clouds platonic smiles

dragging the shadow in the dust after dawn

little one’s scribbles making sense of chaos

grey outside we leap from tile to tile

a place for me in the dark dawn
