bodies limp before the curse of television
we respond to the darkness with silence
consider the design of human frailness
too quiet and still the night for sleep
after dark we embody the being of destroyers
the melancholic song of a strange bird
high noon tree lizards scatter at footsteps
dusk the lightning illuminates brain in jar
