3am follow the dream trail
gather your limbs and dream
sleep tugs at eyelids drawing down curtains
virus invades the holy mind space
spring voices dissipate into the void
a needle shriek pricks bubble of silence
fingers to the dry soil another heat wave
droplets on windscreen chasing light speed
here before at this moment dusk déjà vu
