morning bus ride the half moon stalks
dusk prayer lit wick crackles in reply
spring the plants bask in deadly heat
mid noon we plough the barren baked soil
soul music
fills empty shells
quiet morning
spring tread lightly across the wet concrete
night rain only one wakes to stand watch
spring night we resist
a hint of summer in this spring night
