grey mist trees question the morality of fires
neighbours scream
pet dog escapes
evil human captors
naked the wet body presents itself:
clean slate
not now not ever never ceases winter rain
tragedy crawls along the passage of skin
in stereo the rain we nod heads break backs
eagerness becomes yearning grey dawn
we remember her shadow her curious eyes
another soul passes through the crimson veil
