the winter moon
a reminder
of imperfection
dusk light punctures the winter concrete
rain stretched thin across concrete landscape
bodies solemn and still the dying rain
shadow of storm the vixen at the gate
noon heat
decimates daydreams
prayers returned
peeled skin the rust beneath the pride
leaf fall
is too much beauty
a sickness?
forest breeze the tickle beneath tongue
