edge of the coastal fog light beams scour every inch of darkness
frost giants melt and the river flows into oblivion
the summer forest moves sensually when unobserved
in a tavern unlike any dragons trade smog for bone soup and bitter ale
the silent forest wipes the slate clean and reboots its memory
summer the fungi inherits the tongues of saints
dust masquerades as temporary gods floating dangerously in the light
if only i knew the answer to this quiet rebellion: rainfall
at the end of day cities just dream of walking away from it all
