after dawn the old crow arrives with humanity’s greatest secret
without asking a sunbird blesses the doorway
go on and rage: a little thunder for the garden
don’t ovethink it: the seasons hide their oldest magic in the ordinary
the summer moon knows best: the quiet places to rest
just beneath the arched branch of birch a bundle of moonlight
bonfire smoke carries a little of home into the clouds
tend to this body with care and the gods will offer you salvation
azure king driven mad by the summer heat
