the thunder long gone maelstrom moths whisper weather into innocent clouds
only the bravest confront the absurdity of existence and cosmic truth in golden ratios
rain falls in monochromatic syllables the world blinked in astonishment and turned hollow
red of lips turns into a memory of fire

antler maze now home to night’s children the jealous gods watched as they grew wild and free
