a dry leaf on an open path waits for the gentle breeze to guide it into the next phase of life
night learns tenderness but careful not to break its quiet trance
limbs uncoil and stretch the body remembers that somewhere beyond this concrete darkness is a gentle sun
old and kind as warmth threads through wood the mango tree shimmies a little to bless those below with peace and fruit
connection is made without sound as lips meet lips sealing a divine pact
smoke curls into a serpent holding its shape as pilgrims drip venom into eyes and dance in ecstasy
in this part of paradise shadows watch you with morbid interest
the sky before dawn composed of stars and prophecies
watch a droplet of dew tremble with light

The Patron is a solo journaling RPG where you step into the alluring, dangerous role of a succubus navigating a world shaped by desire, power, ritual, and conflict. Through short, evocative scenes guided by dice prompts, you explore who your patron truly is — their nature, their hungers, their fears, and the shadows they command.
Every scene unfolds through a mix of agenda (Combat, Pleasure, Pain, Ritual, Sex, Explore) and atmospheric details such as weather, location, and the type of person encountered. Success, failure, and ambiguous outcomes shape a drifting narrative made of tension, intimacy, danger, and discovery.
There is no linear plot.
No fixed morality.
Only you, your journal, and the dark world you carve with every choice.
The Patron thrives on mood, implication, and emotional heat — letting players tell stories that lean sensual, haunting, mysterious, or brutal, depending on how the dice fall.
It is a game of self-revelation:
a mirror for your succubus, and sometimes a mirror for you.
