mynahs trail behind sparrow a game of hops

murmuration the rise and fall of her belly

starlings swarm squeezing the stress ball

murmurations dusk sky expands and contracts

bank alley sparrow crew planning a heist

where the rain begins the voices end

the rooster in the shadows crying its heart out

vast ocean drifting from blue to blue

we see the light but we decide to stay
