spring crane shadow flees from storm

never ending rain bodies caught in chaos

coffeehouse tent crow feet tap dancing

after dawn consciously fading

little one commits her chaos to wall and paper

broodling slips under breakfast plate smashed

knife edge sharp the slice clean across skies

ankle deep in bloodied shores

cloud body contorts into a dream
