in the dark between alleys a raw kind of magic

i do not regret the emotions I’ve let loose upon this mad world

burning bridges and raging into the night

the great divide is in the stare of strangers

the kingfisher’s cry ignites the dusk sky

edge of time where the nothingness is but an infant

whets her tongue upon cosmic fires invoking the red

chaos at the pier crows rattle almost barren trees
