rehearsing peace: as the bombs drop the bodies do not exit stage they simply lay motionless eyes wide open gazing into the hearts of the audience
the blood moon knows that bellies will be filled with the red of ale tonight
orange in the horizon a spring moth rushes into the fire
a feathered god once told me: survive the dream and you will survive the process
i fear: the kind of dragon i am becoming one who takes pride in sleeping amongst the cinders of a once peaceful village now razed to the ground
forest’s edge: trees step slightly out of the frame and the cold path dims
in between: taking stock of perishable feelings
winter’s end: just take a look at the darkness we have domesticated
not merely a matter of freeing the body but the liberation of cosmic forces that have been caged within this malleable shell
