losing connection between river and soul

dim the lights just enough for our souls

red sky runs out of fuel darkness sets in

little one and i watching the red sky glow

freeway rush winged gods and contraptions

from peace to a place of trees

before midnight debating the rise of empathy

dusk mirage watch steam rise from tarmac

where we stand hell on earth
