noon shadows prowl the concrete corners

rainwater floods alleys a sign from within

cloud demon lingers overcast

noon grey bodies in revolt

bodies collapse the spring rain rages on

dawn we atone for the crimes of shadows

heads hung in the downpour

look to the stars and wish for the end

dusk a sincere goodbye
